    Magura Throttle 3 wire...

No, your schematic is all wrong :) Your pots are not used at all in that picture, the wire runs straight back to the controller, that won't accomplish anything. You need to run you "ground" and "high" wires through your resistors, like the picture posted here...

Planning first ever build, am i on the right track?

Nominal voltage for LiFePO4 is somewhat lover than 3.7, more like 3.2-3.3

    I need advice-which hub motor

Doh! Missed that post  Will you run the light on your main batteries or from a smaller pack? will the light housing hold the battery? Yes please do post more photos when you have it back, it's almost exactly the design I had in mind, but I haven't see anything likes this available. I've...

    I need advice-which hub motor

Sweet bike! Your front light alu housing, is that something you made yourself or is it bought? Any more pictures of it?

Making a UK/EU legal RC build - a cheap option

Hmm, I don't get it :) If you build a circuit to limit yourself to 12A and 25kph, why not just build a legal kit, with a 12A controller and choose your battery voltage to get a ~25kph top speed? I'm not trolling your thread here, I just don't get it :?

RFID power switch - (techie stuff!)

Jeremy, this is awesome stuff, thanks allot for sharing. I was thinking of a adapting this idea to something simpler (hopefully :), I could be wrong on that part). Instead of running the "mains" power up to this circuit for switching it on/off I could just run my throttle signal through here...

Hub seizing hard to push- roll looks good inside

That's not the phase wire test I was talking about. To exclude the possibility of shorted phase wires you need to do the following:

Hub seizing hard to push- roll looks good inside

Have you actually done the phase wire test mentioned several times in this thread? If you have then just say so  It feels like you have decided that's not the cause but never said that you confirmed that it is not. Not trying to be an ass, just curious :)

    Fluke meter accuracy and recommendation

I heard it doesn't measure small currents like micro and milli amps, is that true? If so that's a shame, then you cant measure balance currents, drain currents of controllers etc.

    Fluke meter accuracy and recommendation

Well then my suggestion is, in order of increasing cost and increasing quality (not necessarily accuracy) Vichy VC99 Chinese Fluke model 17B "real" entry level Fluke, I was going to say Fluke 117, but that might not be so god for ebike use, doesn't measure mA for example.

    Fluke meter accuracy and recommendation

I have 2 multimeters, one $10 cheap version bought locally at a radio shack equivalent and a cheap $37 china ebay model (Vichy VC99) I have measured both against a true 5v reference (http://www.voltagestandard.com/DMMCheck.html) The $10 version only reads 2 decimals at 5v but it consistently...

Accurate voltage source for iCharger/Cellolog calibration

Would it really be easier? Seems like a lot of electronics and engineering for solving a tiny inconvenience :) You could get 10 of these http://www.voltagestandard.com/DMMCheck.html I have one and it's awesome.

    My first harness

Wiring looks correct. You put the black one on COM and red on T+ (also says V) *edit* And if you have a CA you don't need to mess with different wiring harness for parallel/series connection for added rage, just set you max amps and max speed with the CA, simple and effective :D
  14. B

    My first harness

Hmm yeah, it might be the photo, at first it did look like mark5 said. Usually you plug the black probe to COM and then move the red depending on if you are going to measure volts or amps. But like I said, I don't know your MM, if it's measuring voltage now it obviously works :)

    My first harness

I don't know that multimeter but you have nothing connected to the COM port, that seems odd...

    My first harness

Yupp, the top right connector definitely shorts the battery to the right in the first photo.

    Decent Beach Cruiser?

Why would you not use a torque arm? To save $25? Or is there some other reason I'm missing?

Anyone here a Logview Graph guru?

Hmm, maybe I didn't understand what you wanted to do but wouldn't this work: Set you axis how you want them, then go to Graph -> save graph draft as... then name your template to whatever, then when needed load that template?

    Greg's Stinky Build

Any real details on this? What does better magnets mean? longer windings? wider stator? How wide? better laminations?

    Going LiPo - Advice Required

Well, they might look like bullets but they are not really the same connector, so no, they won't fit. I'd suggest order some more of the connectors you have and solder the battery side: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__9283__HXT_4mm_Gold_Connector_w_Protector_10pcs_set_.html

    Icharger 3010B 1000W output review

ok, I've played around with the external load discharge spreadsheet from above, can someone confirm that I'm not going to burn something down by doing this: take 4 100w 2.5ohm resistors, put them 2 in parallel 2 in series, giving me a total R of 2.5ohm. This will be used to discharge a 6s lipo...

    Hitchcocks cruiser bike

I'm building a bike with the same frame (first pic) but haven't decided on bars yet, for looks I want something low but you're right about the belly problem :D I'll try a few different bars I think

Battery Medic - how to ID the REAL vs FAKE

I have a HobbyKing labeled one that is about a year old, mine is a third variant but very close to the "good" one above, same color etc but not identical. I'm guessing methods is just a newer revision and I have an older "good" version. Waiting on a better DMM to check accuracy of mine.

BMS cut-outs when weather is cold. Li - NiCoMn Battery

What cell is that? maybe I didn't understand you last post, but looks like all cells have a resting voltage of ~3.7v, so which one do you suspect is a weak cell?
