Leaf / leafmotor / leafbike high efficiency 1500w motor

Even if the packs were exactly the same, you still need to monitor the voltage level of each independently, as well as the total. In your case, it's even more important, because one of your packs is a piece of crap (paraphrasing), and since it's also the small one, it will sag into the danger...

Cycle Analyst: Confused about pedal assist or torque methods.

Per the kit description, the version of CA is the CA3-WPx. CA3-WPx V3 Direct Plug Cycle Analyst with Waterproof 8 Pin HiGo CA Plug for Ready to Roll Kits.110 cm cable length. The eRider outputs both a torque signal and a cadence signal. Since the CA supports presets, you could have PAS setup...

    Brushless motor

If your motor has two wires it’s brushed, not brushless. You need a different controller.

Hall Plug has 12 Wire not 5 or 6

Are your pics of connectors directly from the old controller or the wiring harness? You may have already done this but looking at the online videos for motor and controller replacement as well as comparisons between the standard and premium models, that doesn’t appear to be the hall sensor...

Motor making grinding noise when riding.

Are you using a molex connector for the halls? If the speed stopped registering, then continuity to one of the halls may be intermittent, and sometimes the pins backout from the connector if they aren’t snapped into the housing fully.

    Hub motor overheating?

Are you riding the same route at the same speed? If you’re riding faster, that’s more power, which means more heat. Looks like you swapped controllers (not sure why), so perhaps the wiring or parameters are off. Is the motor sensored?

    Hall Sensor KT LCD5

If you paid to have it fixed, and the fix only lasted 2 hours, then I’d bring it back. That wasn’t 2 hours at full throttle by chance?

Pulling my hair out how many cells do I use

It looks like your translator removed some of the details from your post and substituted gibberish, so not enough details to help. However, once you find someone in your area to build the pack, you can provide him with all of that, including your system, space and budget requirements, and he...

How do you feel about 60v bike controllers?

60V controllers are relatively rare. It's a common voltage for controllers that support several voltage levels, but the choices for a 60V controller are narrow. However, it is supported with respect to available components/accessories. I tested voltages between 14S and 22S in 2S increments to...

    controller power for light kit

I have to chime in on this. I hope you are able to take the time to relax, but not to change yourself. We all have our moments, but they shouldn’t be what define us, and certainly you are the model we’d all like to strive to be like when it come to supporting this forum. There’s a reason you...

Leaf / leafmotor / leafbike high efficiency 1500w motor

Mine is a no name 80A $70 dumb controller, sold on eBay and Amazon, shunt modded to 90A. It does 40 mph with the 3 speed switch on low, which provides enough power for all my riding. I bought a spare for a plug and play replacement in case I ever blow this on up, but there’s other builds using...

Leaf / leafmotor / leafbike high efficiency 1500w motor

If you enjoy what you're riding and it's doing the job, then there's no reason to switch (y)!! Two bikes are an option, but eventually one will be gathering dust most of the time. That's my main deterrent from putting together a purpose-built ebike that I may only use on a few specific trails...

I noticed that was the lowest rated answer on that thread but all three responses, including the highest rated, were, in a practical sense, saying no.

What, again, is the reason you now need an foc controller? Your original post only mentioned square and sine wave.

Breaker switch turning off when riding

Good information. A breaker normally doesn't take that long to reset. I'd replace it assuming it's sized correctly for your system. I see a missing screw. Was it replaced at one point?

Breaker switch turning off when riding

Probably need to invest in a better battery. I would expect to spend at least 4 times that.

    3 Speed Switch Removal

The 3 speed switch uses 3 conductors; two signal wires and a ground. I would use something like a 10 kOhm pot. The ground wire would go to the middle terminal and the signal wires to the remaining terminals. That’s it. For your 3 speeds turn the knob all the way counterclockwise for low, midway...

    Vicont Controller

Probably defective. They don’t usually fry themselves under regular riding conditions; but hotrodding around or climbing a long hills could sometimes overheat them. Is the unit enclosed? Sounds like you’ll need to replace both the controller and display.
