    problem is the bike is built around the idea of never having to take the side off to access the battery there's a 24 pin connector on the bike wired to all the balance connectors, and then a 24 core cable to plug into the chargers (there's a few spare cores)

    thanks, I'll check R33 tomorrow and get back to you two in series for 75.6v pack gives 9.25amp charge for 350watts (but they're ok till about 130% right?) pretty easy on charge rate here, give or take an amp is no big deal I'll do the fan mod so it always runs too thanks Alan.

    also, you should check the pack is pretty much balanced before you start charging (it should be if you have the bms, but worth checking, in case you have a bad cell etc..) if the pack is out of balance before you start charging, some cells could be over charged, because the bms won't be able...

    nice connector for the charger - I just ordered some :-) biggest I could find are 30amp cont. 40amp for 1 min bought a 4 pole so I can parallel up 2 pairs for my 70amp coil / probably 50amp charging max :-)

    if I were you I'd be thinking about running 96v the increased rev range means you could change your cogs again, so you have 110kph top speed (or whatever you need) but also increase acceleration but that all depends on your motor/controller working with the extra power without overheating...

    just leave it on charge for ages on there first adaptto charge (first charge actually) they took about a week to balance ! once they've balanced the first time, it's much quicker after that also, 0.042 difference between cells is naff all... it's less than most balance chargers can even...

    I don't know the numbers off the top of my head for different chemistries but you can charge at a much higher rate than normal straight after discharge so when you're bike is in use, intermittent regen breaking can be set much higher than normal charge amps... probably somewhere around 2x...

    did you get the positive/negative (red/black) matched up between the controller rand wheel ? there's a +ve, and -ve, and then the 3 hall wires.... only the halls are automatic :-)
