New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Been away from here for a while, just enjoying my TSDZ2 bikes... Now thinking about options for making them quieter as the noise is starting to become annoying... I guess it's the usual, strip, clean, debur, re-grease?

Adding more solar to my existing off grid setup

We are completely off grid, no grid available in our area. My existing system can generate about 8kWh/day, maximum, in the summer. But only if we can use it. In the summer we are in float at 11am sometimes so without running the washing machine/dishwasher etc, we can't use all that sunshine...

stealing "energy" from your workplace? stories?

I've charged my volt from flat to full every day at my office for close to 5 years now - no complaints from management.

Adding more solar to my existing off grid setup

I'm considering my options for adding an additional ground based array to my current off grid solar setup. This extra power would be to help run AC side loads in the summer time (EV charging, domestic appliances etc) that have a higher demand than our current 2.4kW array can produce. I...

    Rebalancing my pack?

I have easy access to the balance wires, I'll use my nightcore 4 bay charger, with some clip leads, to bring the back back into balance. I didn't think of going in via the balance leads.. I actually have one of those imax B6 clones that works quite well, but I think that only supports 6S maximum?

    Rebalancing my pack?

I've got a 2 yr old generic aliexpress 13s pack, it's quite out of balance (as indicated by the bluetooth BMS I added to it the other day) - what are my options for rebalancing it easily? I expect it to have about 100 cycles on it. I've tried charging it up off a low-current charger (1.5A) but...

TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (r0mko fork, torque only)

You'll need to go back to casainho's thread around the page 200 mark from April last year, you need v0.8 of the display firmware

TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (r0mko fork, torque only)

I used this with an SW102, and I think the file in the original link on the first page will work with 850C - I only use SW102 displays so can't advise any more than that.

Has a go at me, tells me to shut up then comes back with a 'sorry for being rude'... If you want to have a go at me, fine, but don't sugar coat it with a 'sorry for being rude' statement - I've got very thick skin and can bend over and take it like a man... And as for 'wasting your time' - I'm...

Azur, your post is almost exclusively related to the startup and restart delays of v1.0.0/1.1.1 so please, I suggest you post your replies about that thread, in that thread. Your posts are just noise in here, this thread is about v20.1c which is very different inside compared to the firmware...

I've just realised, the video you made and the problems you describe with the assistance delay is all running Casainho's v1.0.0 from September last year, correct? If this is indeed correct then you're posting this in the wrong thread - this is about the latest version from mbrusa which behaves...

    TSDZ2 OSF for all displays, VLCD5-VLCD6-XH18, LCD3, 860C-850C-SW102.

With AWOP enabled and the threshold set to 85, the motor take-up is instant, I can spin the back wheel just by touching the pedals if I want to. However, you do need to be in a high enough gear so that your pedal pressure will generate enough torque sensor feedback, like driving a turbocharged...

That is a hard one for me to clarify - I don't think I feel a delay, and any delay I do feel, perhaps that is my sprag bearing, perhaps it is the internals of my Alfine gearhub? I don't know... I suppose I don't pay any attention to it. I will try and pay more attention when I ride this...

Reason 2 doesn't apply to the eMTB/Torque mode as neither of these modes use the cadence sensor as part of the current calculation.
