I have. 84v battery capable of 50amps continuous and 90amp bursts.

The controller is a 45 amp.

When battery is fully charged and set to 45 amp I only get 2500 watts.

That's about 29 amps.

I am missing 16 amps of power ..

I have controller set to 45 amps

Any idea what is wrong with my set up?

Thanks

What kind of physical load are you placing on the system? If it's not a big enough load, it wont' draw as much current.

For instance, riding on flat ground takes a lot less power than doing the same thing up a hill, or against a headwind. Or riding at a slower speed vs a fast one on the same terrain.

I am 96kg

Even uphill I get no more than 2500 watts.

Top speed is only 35 mph.

That's like the speed of an average 2500 watt bike.

I should be getting 84 * 45 = 3780

I have not tried pressing the brake I will try that tonight.

Is there any settings I could play with on the risun controller that might bring the wattage upto 3780 watts

Thanks
