Matsui 1000w geared hub, can't find any information on it.

Hey there, I searched the forum and the internet and I can't find anything pertaining to a Matsui geared hub drive. I have purchased an Ariel Rider, the label( on the motor) says 1000w but the bike can run at 2000w. I am just looking for general information on the motor so I can buy replacement parts, and get a spare to try oil cooling.

Second question, I read the 25 page post on oil cooling a geared hub motor but it hasn't been updated in years, what is the consensus on it being a viable cooling method?

This looks like a rebranded bafang fatbike hub motor. Plenty of information online. 2000W is too much though.

Thank you so much. That made my life so much simpler. The bike runs 1000w and peak 2000w from the manufacturer. Now that I know what the motor is I can look up the details. Ty.

What replacement parts are you looking for?

Have you looked into Statorade for cooling?
