Hey! I would like to buy this tongsheng kit and I have a 52v battery. Would it work propperly without buring the controller? Thanks.
Which Tongsheng kit?
There are versions with and without throttle
Stock there is a 36V and 48V version
Some sellers have a modified 52V too
If it is an 48V version you can run it from 54V
A full charged 52V batterie is 58V
So you can't use a fully charged batterie.
If you want this, you have to flash Open Source Firmware (OSF).
Then you can select the batterie you want to use.
With a higher Voltage you won't burn the controller. It is possible to feed it with 60V.
With a higher Voltage you won't burn the motor.
Burning the motor will be done, if you exeed the max current (18A) for a longer time.
