my question is how hard would it be to get an rc motor to run off of an ebike controller? ive been looking through threads by jeremy harris, thud, and others that have done this and im trying to gather info on how to do this since i keep blowing up rc controllers.

i know i would have to get my rc motor to be sensored. but right now im not sure what controller i need to get it to work. i want to run 6s lipo(hopefully i can run that). so far all i can see is that people are using the 6fet controllers, but im not sure if this is what i should use. ive also looked on ebay to see if there were any suitable controllers for the application and i found this one:

would that one work? or would i need to do some modifications to get it to work?

does anyone have some insight to doing this? any help is appreciated.

bump.

can anyone help me out with this? i dont feel like ive got a definitive answer on this one while using the search function. i see that people like gwhy are using a 6fet but modded, i also see others with an unmodded 6fet, but i also see others using the infineons with a higher fet count like the one from lyen. im not sure which would be the winner here. i think ill order a controller and hope for the best and that it works.

if you get this one.. i read in an other thread it also works sensorless..

edit:

this is the thread i referred to
