Hi all!

On the Lingbei post, atomohodez talked about a new mid drive motor with torque sensor, the CMT06 from Shengyi

Does anybody know something about it? It looks good...

I'm a bit fed up with my tsdz2. It works fine with a 36v motor fed in 48V and OS firmware, but not reliable at all to mount on my customer's bikes...

I wish Shengyi, Tongshen, Bafang etc. would get hip to splined spindles over tapered.

That video suggests that motor is less than 500w that has yet to be made? Hopefully it has a good torque sensor. A shop here had some bikes imported with a Shengyi integrated mid drive that although it was kind of heavy and sq. taper it was narrow for a good Q factor, an excellent torque sensing system and at 48v had plenty of power. The bikes retailed for $1800 so on par with lots of cadence hub bikes. Not that there is anything wrong with hub motors.
