There was so much rust buildup that there wasn’t any clearance between the stator and magnets. Also the bearings we’re bad at least on one side. So the combination of the bearings and rust created that screeching noise. The stator and magnets were touching due to the bearings but then the rust made it worse.
Then the overcurrent errors I was getting was corrected with the new controller. So I had two issues a rusted hub motor and The controller was failing. that’s what made this kind of confusing because it was more than one issue lol
